Health & Safety Audits

CCAS can assist businesses that require audits of their health and safety management system. For smaller organisations, this might be as simple as an inspection of the premises and a review of current health and safety documentation. A report is then issued detailing all observations and recommendations.

Larger organisations may be looking for an external audit check of their health and safety management system. CCAS Management system audits are carried out against the requirements of UK legislation and the principles contained in the Health & Safety Executive guidance on health & safety management systems, HS(G)65 "Successful Health & Safety Management"

Health and safety audit components

Management system audits can be desktop only, or can include site verification visits to ensure that policy and practice are the same.

Following the audit, a prioritised action plan will be produced to guide any required improvements. We would be happy to assist with any recommendations if required, but this is totally up to the client and they are free to implement the recommendations without our assistance if required.

Please note that audits can also be covered as part of our annual support contracts.
